These asset concept development sketches are to aid me in the 3D modelling process later on and for a better visual communication of my vision for this project.
These four monster designs are a mix of Bosch's monsters' most interesting features into four distinct types. Although I want an overpowering mass of creatures to come out, I will not model each asset from scratch but will instead reuse either model components or whole models with texture variations to create diversity.
The following palette from Gino Acevedo's ArtStation Masterclass 3 course will be used to texture Bosch's monsters to achieve a similar effect as Acevedo's ZBrush rendered creature on the right.
Post-apocalyptic debris inspired by Beksinki's environments will entrap the cathedral's interior in the following manner:
The texturing on the debris will be reminiscent of the vampire eggs from the movie Van Helsing (2004).
